Walt Disney's imagination began when the top animators came in
to give Disney’s characters a life. What was made 70 years ago are still appreciated
today in the modern cartoons like Pinocchio, Bambi, Beauty and the beast, Lion king,
Tarzan, and so on. Every movie has become a timeless masterpiece.
No one could understand animation like Walt Disney. His creations of the characters and stories
are something we all in keep in that special place in our hearts. When we step into Disney's stories,
are we leaving our own lives for a while and live in the imagination and magic of Disney.

When they told him people would never sit still for a feature-length cartoon, he went ahead and made
"Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs" and proved them all wrong. Then he made "Fantasia" and proved that
animation could be about more than just fairy tales and funny animals. He went broke several times,
but ended up creating a company that is today part of one of the leading media conglomerates, responsible
for hundreds of films and shorts, most notably the Mickey Mouse and Donald Duck cartoons.

Disney has made 41 animated movies so far since Snow White and the seven dwarfs 1937.

In the 90´s Disney began to release movies made by the studios that produce
Disney’s cartoon TV-series. These movies are what we call "Direct to video", meaning that they haven’t
been shown first at the cinema.
